Creation Process

Yarn, faux fur and wire. Materials, textures and techniques I explore and develop myself.

Imagination, materials, details.

Quantity does not draw me in.

What I enjoy most is the process of creating and making something I have not already seen elsewhere. That is why my pieces are mostly one of a kind, born of imagination, a love of handwork and a need to explore materials, textures and details.

Unexpected combinations.

I work with knitwear, faux fur, wire, beads and other materials, often combining them in unexpected ways. I love quality materials, but also the possibility of turning what already exists into something new.

A new life for materials.

I use remnants, repurpose materials and sometimes dye yarn naturally myself — with onion skins, for example.

For me, sustainability is not a trend, but a natural part of how I create.

Vegan friendly

Among the creations are pieces made from yarn, faux fur and wire, using techniques Vlatka developed herself. All models are made exclusively from materials of non-animal origin.
